Many of our patients have been asking us about how the pandemic might affect their appointment or future treatment with us. This is a collation of all the common questions we have received and answers from our team. We hope you find this useful and if you have any further questions please feel free to contact us here or pop us a call on 01873 857400.
What forms do I need to fill out before my appointment?
24 hours before your appointment, you will be sent a form with standard health questions. This is a precaution to protect both you and our staff.
What services are currently available?
The guidelines currently do not restrict the services we can offer you, however, with longer times needed between patients for deep cleaning, you may have to wait a little longer than usual to have your appointment.
I’ve never visited before; can I book an appointment?
Yes, we are currently accepting new private patients. Please contact us here if you wish to book an appointment for the first time.
I already have an appointment booked; do I need to do anything?
No, unless you or someone in your household is instructed to self-isolate or displays coronavirus symptoms – in which case you should let us know and reschedule your appointment. We will contact you 24 hours before your appointment to check this too.
What procedures are in place to keep me safe at the dentist?
We have PPE and safety procedures in place which are above that required by COVID-19 guidelines. We are spacing out appointments to allow for thorough cleaning, have equipment which changes the air in the practice 20 times an hour and extra PPE in use. To find out more of the measures currently in place, click here.
What PPE do I need to bring/is PPE provided?
We ask patients bring their own face mask if possible. There will be a small charge to cover the additional PPE required to protect yourself and our staff. For non-aerosol generating procedures (AGP), this will be £7 and for aerosol generating procedures, this will be £40. If you are unsure which might apply to you, please call on 01873 857400 and we will be able to advise you.
I am considered vulnerable; can I have an appointment at Premium Dental Implants?
Yes, we are doing everything we can to make every patient’s visit safe. Please make sure to mention that you are considered vulnerable when you book an appointment. Our staff will then be able to ensure the appropriate measures are in place for you.
What do I do if I have a dental emergency?
